This link is to “Daily Kos: Obama Once Again Shows GOP that he is the Adult in the Room” but I’m not feelin’ it. Tonight I got the strong sense that Obama will lose. I mean, if Obama wins it will be because Mitt Romney is awful and the Republican Party in general is awful. But do you remember back in 2008 when you could just feel that Obama was going to win? Nowadays it really seems obvious that Obama has no control over “the narrative” and that a slight majority of the country is hostile to him. HELL, half the time folks aren’t aware of him AT ALL! That’s not good. He needs to be prominent, and for good reasons. I am worried it may be getting too late. I mean, HELL, he didn’t even get an outpouring of love for getting bin Laden. OK, now, die-hard liberals like me do not/should not celebrate the killing of anyone or the disrespect shown to an ally’s sovereign borders, BUT I’m just saying, it is obvious that NO ONE is truly celebrating President Obama. That scares me re: his re-election prospects.
